Chukwueze Scores First Goal In Eight Games Vs Real Madrid

Samuel Chukwueze has added Real Madrid to the list of LaLiga teams he has scored against across all competitions after netting the second goal in Villarreal’s 3-2 loss to the visiting Los Blacos Thursday evening at the Estadio de la Ceramica.

The Nigerian doubled the hosts advantage on 4-2 minutes after Etienne Capoue had given them the lead on four minutes.

Real Madrid however bounced back to score three unreplied goals in the second half to move into the next round of the Copa Del Rey competition.

Chukwueze’s goal is his fourth in four appearances in the competition this season and first in eight appearances across all competitions against Real Madrid.

Only last week the Nigerian won his first game against the Los Blancos in seven games but would have thought he was on course for a second straight win against the reigning UEFA Champions League champion.

Chukwueze has now scored against two of the three big teams in the LaLiga. The 23 year old scored three times and bagged one assist against Barcelona in eight games and one goal and two assists against Real Madrid.

He neither scored or provided any assist in the six games he has featured against Atletico Madrid and he won’t get the chance again until June when Villarreal host Diego Simone’s side in their final gaem of the season at the Estadio de la Ceramica.
