Everton join Nottingham Forest and Burnley in race for Iheanacho
Everton have joined Burnley and Nottingham Forest in the race for Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho, according to Tribal Football.
The website says Everton manager, Sean Dyche is ‘desperate to add some goals and options to his forward line for the new season, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin
struggling for fitness and both Ellis Simms and Neal Maupay not good enough for what we need.’
With the relegation of Leicester City from the Premier League and Iheanacho’s going into the final year of his contract at the club, it looks certain the
club will want to sell the Nigerian.
‘Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho is attracting Premier League interest,’ Tribal Football wrote.
‘After relegation this season, the Nigeria international could be among players to be sold by the Foxes in the coming months.
‘Iheanacho has been linked with Nottingham Forest, with Burnley and Everton also among clubs keen.’
The 27 year old Nigerian has netted 25 times in 2006 appearances for the Foxes since his transfer from Manchester City in August 2017.
Most of his 55 goals (30) have come in 150 Premier League appearances while 13 came in 18 FA Cup games. Three in UEFA Europa matchesand one in eight EUFA Europa Conference League games.
