Iheanacho looking to score in five straight games for the first time

Red hot Kelechi Iheanacho will be seeking to set a personal goalscoring record when his club, Leicester City host Sunderland Tuesday evening at the King
Power stadium in a Championship matchweek 13 tie.

Iheanacho has scored in four straight games for the Foxes so far this term to equal the feats he achieved twice in the 2020/21 season, first in March 2021
when he scored in three consecutive Premier League games and in the 3-2 quarterfinal defeat of the FA Cup.

He repeated the same feat the following month, scoring in three Premier League games and the winner against Southampton in the semifinals of the FA Cup.

If he scores on Tuesday, it will be the first time the 27 year old will be scoring for a clubside for five consecutive games.
It will also be the Nigerian’s first goal in three appearances against the visitors.

Iheanacho is Leicester City’s top scorer so far this term and the former Manchester City star who also scored in Nigeria’s 2-2 draw against Saudi Arabia in
an international friendly in Portugal and will be keen to inspire the Foxes to another win and extend their unbeaten run to 13 games after winning 11 and
drawing one of their last 12 games to sit on top of the Championship log.
