Janne Andersson: ‘I can confirm I’ve had a dialogue with the NFF over Super Eagles job’

Former Sweden national team coach, Janne Andersson, 61, has told Swedish newspaper, Expressen that he has had talks with the Nigeria Football Federation over the vacant Super Eagles head coach.
‘I can confirm that I have had a dialogue with the Nigerian Football Association,’ he told to Expressen.
Janne Andersson has been without a coaching job since he left the Swedish national team in November last year.
In recent days, however, things have started to bubble around the 61-year-old.
“I can confirm that I have had a dialogue with the Nigerian Football Association. It’s a huge football nation so I’m extremely flattered to be part of the discussion about being their future coach. Dialogue is going on and I don’t really want to say more than that,” he says and continues:
“I’ve been in this industry for so long and know that things can happen in different ways. So we’ll see what happens in the future.
“Nothing is clear at the moment. We’ll see,’ said the 61 year old.
