OGC Nice announce Terem Moffi loan deal from Lorient

French Ligue 1 side, OGC Nice have announced the arrival of Terem Moffi on a loan deal with an obligation to buy from FC Lorient.

‘We’re delighted that Terem’s determination to sign for OGC Nice, combined with our own, has led to this outcome. The support of our owner was also invaluable,’ says club president Jean-Pierre Rivère.

‘It’s an investment that matches our ambitions.’

Moffi, 23, has seven caps and two goals for Nigeria and has become an established name in the French top flight with Lorient, having joined them in 2020 and made 90 appearances, scoring 35 goals, including 12 this season – the second-highest total in Ligue 1.

Before moving to Brittany, Moffi plied his trade for KV Kortrijk in Belgium, following a spell in Lithuania with both FK Kauno Žalgiris and FK Riteriai.

Quick, powerful and a formidable finisher, the Super Eagle is also a man of his word.
