Onuachu Brace Powers Trabzonspor Past Konyaspor, Moves Eight Goals Clear Of Osimhen

Trabzonspor maintained their strong home form with a 3-1 win over Konyaspor at Papara Park in the 14th week of the Trendyol Super League, strengthening their pursuit of the summit with 31 points.
The visitors struck first in the 17th minute when Okay Yokuşlu inadvertently turned the ball into his own net. But Trabzonspor responded before half-time, with Paul Onuachu converting from the penalty spot after a VAR review to level the score at 1-1.
Onuachu struck again early in the second half, heading home to put the hosts in front. Just six minutes later, Ernest Muçi extended the lead with a superb free-kick, effectively sealing the win.
Konyaspor, who had threatened sporadically through Bardhi and Muleka, were unable to recover and slumped to their seventh defeat of the season, leaving them stuck on 15 points.
Trabzonspor, meanwhile, celebrated their ninth victory of the campaign, continuing their push toward the top of the table.
Onuachu has now netted 11 goals in 14 Super Lig games to extend his lead at the top of the top scorers list, one more than second placed Uzbekistan forward Eldor Shomurodov who plays for
Basaksehir FK.
The 31 year old Nigerian forward has now moved eight goals clear of his Nigerian compatriot, Galatasaray froward, Victor Osimhen who has scored three times in nine appearances.
Osimhen was the top scorer in the league last season, netting 26 times in 30 Super Lig games.
