Osimhen back in training, may get chance to score first goal in seven games Vs Inter

Victor Osimhen’s condition seems to be improving and could be in Napoli’s squad to face Inter Milan on Sunday in a Serie A matchweek 29 tie.
The Nigerian missed training on Friday due to a muscle strain which puts his participation against Simone Inzaghi’s Inter at San Siro in doubt.
Osimhen was however among the Napoli players that trained Saturday morning at the SSCN Konami Training Center. The team, saccordng to Napoli’s social media pages, worked on field 2, starting the session with activation and bullnose.
Subsequently – continues the usual post-training report published by the Neapolitan club through its official information channels – the team group played a small match on a reduced pitch. Closing of the session with tactical technical work.
Napoli announced that its number 9 carried out personalized training on the pitch and subsequently carried out part of a group session.
The call-up against Inter no longer appears to be a distant mirage and has given the Super Eagle the opportunity to score his first goal against either of the two, world famous Milan sides, Inter and AC Milan.
Inter and AC Milan remain the two big name clubs Osimhen is yet to score against after eight round of matches.
He has featured six times against Inter Milan and has not been able to find the back of the net, only provided the assist in the 1-1 draw in February 2022 at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
He has also won just once and lost three times in the six appearances.
