Osimhen says no to Saudi Pro League move after Al-Ahli make firm offer for Nigerian

According to the Monday edition of Corriere dello Sport, Victor Osimhen has refused the transfer to the Saudi League. The newspaper revealed that Napoli received an offer between 70 and 80 million euros for the Nigerian from Saudi Pro League side, Al-Ahli.

It says Osimhen was informed of the offer, but the 25-year-old rejected the chance to leave Europe for the oil rich country.

The newspaper says Osimhen is waiting for something to be unlocked in Europe, and more specifically in Paris where has reportedly had an agreement with PSG for some time, but he has been holed up since July in a silence that is ‘a bit strategic and a bit rigid’.

‘A silence that became deafening after (Napoli President) De Laurentiis rejected the maxi proposal of 210 million euros for the complete package including Victor and the untransferable Kvaratskhelia.’

“Osimhen, in short, is still waiting for Europe, more than anything else France: a potential goal that may be viable until Friday, the final day of the transfer window in Europe,’ the newspaper reported.
