Osimhen’s ‘Superhuman’ Goal Stuns Ex-Turkish Referee

Victor Osimhen’s latest strike for Galatasaray has drawn extraordinary praise, with former Turkish referee Ahmet Çakar describing it as ‘superhuman.’

The Super Eagles forward scored his side’s third goal in their 3-0 win over Rizespor on Sunday, calmly rounding goalkeeper Yahia Fofana before squeezing the ball in from an almost impossible angle.

The finish marked his 52nd goal for the Turkish champions, making him the club’s fourth-highest foreign scorer in history.

It was also Osimhen’s third goal in as many league matches since returning from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, underlining his sharp form.

Çakar, writing in his column for Sabah, was left stunned by the athleticism and technique behind the effort.

‘Osimhen scored a superhuman goal. He has an anatomical structure unlike that of a normal human,’ he said. ‘He moves so fast with his long legs and scores a goal from an almost impossible angle. It seems very simple, but it’s not.’
