Iwobi looking to set personal goal record against Man United

Guns for second goal in 14 games across all competitions vs Red Devils

Alex Iwobi will be seeking to make Manchester United the first Premier League club he will score against in both home and away games in a single Premier
League season.

The Nigerian is in Everton’s squad that will face Man United at Old Trafford on Saturday in a matchweek 30 Premier League game and the 26 year old will be
looking to score his second goal in the competition this term for Everton and second in 11 Premier League games against Man United.

Iwobi scored his first Premier League goal against the Red Devils on his 10th attempt and that was last October when the former Arsenal player netted the
Toffees’ only goal in a 2-1 defeat at Goodison Park.

Before that, the Nigerian has neither scored nor bagged an assist in 12 games across all competitions against Man United.

If he scores, it will be the first time he will be scoring against the same team home and away in a single Premier League season.

Iwobi will also be seeking to make his 30th straight Premier League start for the Toffees, his longest run since he made his debut in the competition in
October 2015.

The Super Eagle has appeared 212 times in the Premier, the seventh most by a Nigerian in the competition. He is also one of only eight Nigerians who
have played 200+ games in the Premier League.

His 16 goals overall are the joint 10th most with Odion Ighalo by a Nigerian in the competition while his 26 assists are only bettered by Nwankwo Kanu’s 29.

This season, Iwobi has made more appearances (29) than any Nigerian and his 2,571 minutes are the most a Nigerian has featured and 11th best by all players
in the Premier League so far.

Iwobi has made more tackles (58), provided more assists (6), made more passes (1,104), more touches (1,588) and more shots on target (9) than any Nigerian in the competition this season.
