Drogba: ‘Osimhen doesn’t need to go to PSG to grow’

Chelsea and Ivory Coast legend Didier Drogba believes PSG will not be the right club for Victor Osimhen if he wants to leave Napoli anytime soon.
Osimhen has been linked with a move away from the Serie A side following his impressive, record-breaking season both in Italy and in Europe.
The Nigerian has scored 26 goals in 31 games across all competitions for Napoli and he is only one of four players in Europe to have scored 20+ goals in the Europe’s top five big leagues.
The 24 years old 21 goals in the Serie A is the most scored by a player in the Italian topflight so far this season and he is on course to becoming the top scoring African in the history of the competition.
Drogba, who scored 164 goals in 381 appearances for Chelsea, says PSG are no doubt a big club in Europe but are not the right club for the Nigerian bomber.
“If he’s really in the sights of a club like PSG, it shows the full extent of his talent and the season he’s having. But PSG aren’t the club he needs to continue his growth,” the former Chelsea striker told Canal+.
