U17 AFCON: Anatouf wants to be the next Osimhen

Algeria U17 star forward, Moslem Anatouf has told CAFOnline.com he wants to follow in Victor Osimhen’s footsteps and become a global superstar.

Anatouf, who turns 17 next month, says he is ‘very familiar with the story of the Nigerian international’

‘His story is motivating for young players and this competition is a great platform for players to shine and give themselves a chance to be scouted, especially since there are several clubs following the matches.

The Algerian boy says he wants to become as famous as the Nigerian who launched his road to stardom first at the U17 AFCON before storming the FIFA U17 tournament to help Nigeria emerge champions in 2015 in Chile with his goals.

‘Absolutely yes. He (Osimhen) is a player who has set an example for me in my career and I am determined to go all the way just as he did.’
