Newly appointed Technical Adviser of 2017 NPFL champions, Plateau United, Coach Mbwas Mangut who until his appointment, was the chief coach of Rangers International F.C, has penned an emotional farewell message to management, coaches, staff, and supporters of the ‘Flying Antelopes’ as he brings to an end his romance with the Enugu side.

Mangut, who joined the coaching ranks of the Enugu side some four seasons back and assisted the duo of coach Salisu Yusuf and Abdul Maikaba that led the team to the final match of the 2023 NFF/TINGO Federation Cup that took place in Asaba on June 21, 2023, was full of praises for the team for giving him the platform to showcase his God-given talent.

‘First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the government and people of Enugu state, management, and other coaches for their support. It has been four solid years of great experience and will live with me throughout my career.

‘Our shared laughter, hard work, and dedication have made each day in training and competitive matches an incredible adventure. I will forever cherish the memories we have created together and the bonds we have formed.

‘Thank you for your unwavering support and for always pushing me to be the best of what I love doing,’ stated the former Wikki Tourists, Heartland, and Delta Force gaffer.

The young tactician continued, ‘Rangers International F.C. will always be in my heart for the care, love, and support I received since I joined the team and I can say categorically that I felt at home and will cherish this all my life.

I’m pleased to bid farewell at this stage of my career and I’m also very excited to leave at this stage and would have loved to do more for the club but at this moment, I have to answer the clarion call to serve my people. I wish Rangers the very best in their future endeavors.’
