Supercomputer predicts EPL return for Ndidi, Iheanacho, Aribo and Onuachu at the first time of asking

EFL Championship Supercomputer has predicted the Nigerian quartet of Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Joe Aribo and Paul Onuachu will be back playing Premier League football in the 2024/24 season.

The Nigerians dropped from the Premier League to the Skybet Championship with their respective clubsides, Leicester City and Southampton at the end of the 2022/23 season.

Aribo and Onuachu will start his first ever campaign in the second tier English football Friday vening when Southampton travel to Hillsbrough to face their host, Sheffield Wednesday.

Ndidi and Aribo will wait until Sunday before starting life in the Championship when Leicester City host Coventry City at the King Power stadium.

The Supercomputer is however backing the Foxes and the Saints to bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking, but expects Leeds to fall short.

Meanwhile, Chuba Akpom looks to be staying at Middlesbrough after his incredible performance last season and the supercomputer believes the Riverside outfit will repeat their last season’s top six finish.

The numbers suggest they will be joined by Stoke, Bristol City and Millwall – none of whom made the play-offs last term – with Leeds just outside in seventh.

Unlike the top of the table, the relegation battle is not expected to go to the wire. Newly promoted Plymouth are set to finish bottom, according to the supercomputer, with Hull and Cardiff joining them with a week to go.
