Amusan lands in Budapest, to begin training Saturday morning

World 100m hurdles champion, Tobi Amusan has arrived in Budapest, Hungary to defend her title after she was cleared to compete by the Athletics Integrity Unit, AIU, following a Whereabouts Failures charge.
The 26 year landed aboard Air France from her base in the USA in the late hours of Friday and got to the Team Nigeria hotel in the early hours of Saturday.
Amusan will begin training later on Saturday as she aims to get in shape and competition mood ahead of Tuesday when the first round heats of the event will hold.
Meanwhile the Nigeria Mixed Relay team will be in action later Saturday morning when the competition gets underway.
Barring any last minute changes, the quartet of Dubem Nwachukwu, Nathaniel Ezekiel, Patience Okon George and Imaobong Nse Uko will seek to finish in the top three of their semifinal heat to secure automatic qualifcation to their second straight final.
Chidi Okezie and Ella Onojuvwevwo are in the reserves.
