Ndidi decisive, rated best Leicester City player in win Vs Tranmere Rovers

Wilfred Ndidi has been rated the best Leicester City player at Prenton Park Tuesday night where he helped the Foxes to a 2-0 Carabao (EFL) Cup win in their second round tie win against Tranmere Rovers.

The Nigerian came off the bench at the start of the second half and made all the difference as he scored the opening goal and provided the assist for Jamie Vardy for the second.

Influential Leicester City newspaper, the Leicester Mercury online version rated the Nigeria eight out of a possible 10.

‘Just when it looks like Maresca’s experiment isn’t going to work, Ndidi comes up with a performance like that. His finish, if he meant it, was lovely, and his cross for Vardy’s header was pinpoint. Beyond that, he made good runs and was a threat throughout,’ wrote the newsapper about the Nigerian

Ndidi has now featured 243 times for Leicester City in what could be his final game for the Foxes before the transfer window closes this Friday.
