De Laurentiis: We are in the home stretch of Osimhen contract renewal

Napoli President, Aurelio De Laurentiis says center forward Victor Osimhen’s contract renewal is nearly done .
The eccentric Napoli owner told Corriere dello Sport in an interview on Friday the deal is done.

‘I said it and I repeat it: we are in the home stretch,’ De Laurentiis told the newspaper.

The player, consequently, barring sensational twists, will tie himself to the Campania club with a new contract. It will then be up to the club and the player himself to decide whether or not to accept the copious offers that will arrive.

Osimhen featured 32 times for Napoli in the Serie A last season, scoring 26 goals to get his hands on Golden Boot and the Scudetto.

The 24-year-old has already scored eight goals in 17 appearances this season
