Osimhen’s third most valuable African of all-time, Ndidi ninth

Napoli and Super Eagles of Nigeria forward, Victor Osimhen is the third most valuable African of all-time, according to transfermarkt.
The 24 year old is currently valued at €110m but his market once rose as high as €120m and it is only bettered by the duo of Mo Salah of Liverpool and Egypt
as well as Sadio Mane who now plays in Saudi Arabia and were both valued at €150m.
Salah had a record market value of €150m back in 2018, during the season in which he scored 32 goals in 36 games – a Premier league record at the time for
goals scored in a 38 game season.
Mané’s record market value rose to €150m during the 2018/19 season.
Osimhen’s value reached its highest level in June last year when it rose to €120m after a season in which he scored 31 goals in 39 games for Napoli.
Interestingly, the Nigerian is the most valuable African at the moment and the most valuable player that has been registered for the 34th African Nations Cup which starts this weekend in Cote D’Ivoire.
Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi is the other Nigerian who made it to the top 10 with his €60m valuation back in 2021 when he was at the peak of his game and was considered the best defensive midfielder in the Premier League.
