AFCON 2023: Terem Moffi to join Super Eagles on Sunday

OGC Nice of France forward, Terem Moffi, called up as replacement for the injured Bayer Leverkusen star, Victor Boniface will not join his Super Eagles
teammates earlier than Sunday January 14 and this is official.

The 24 year old, according to influential French daily sports paper, L’Équipe, will feature for his club when they visit the Roazhon Park on Saturday for a Ligue 1 matchweek 18 game against Stade Rennais.

The Nigerian who has netted six times and provided two assists in 17 appearances across all competitons for OGC Nice will be hoping to sign off with a goal to take his tally to two in eight Ligue games against their host and seventh of the season.

Moffi will also be making his Africa Cup of Nations debut if he gets to play after scoring twice in two appearances in the qualifiers for the competition.
