Super Eagles Rated 16th Most Valuable Team In The World

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are the 16th most valuable national team in the world, according to transfermarkt valuation.

The Nigerian senior national is valued at €343.50m and ranked the most valuable national team in Africa ahead of Morocco (€321.40m), reigning African champion, Ivory Coast (€311.58m) and Senegal (€285.90m).

Victor Osimhen is the most valuable player in Africa at €110m but he is ranked seventh among all players worldwide. He is ranked number one among all players at SSC Napoli and number one among all players in the Serie A.

The 25 year old is also ranked number three among all players playing as ‘centre-forward’ in the whole world behind the duo of Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe.

Players who also ensured the Super Eagles are ranked Africa’s most valuable national team include Ademola Lookman (€30m) and Alex Iwobi (€30m).

Meanwhile the Three Lions of England are the most valuable national with a squad value of €1.41bn with France (€1.22bn) Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal
(€1.03bn) second and third respectively.

Brazil comes in fourth with a squad value of €927.10m with Spain (€896.00m), Italy (€757.00m), Argentina (€721.70m), Netherlands (€637.00m), Germany
(€628.00m) and Belgium (€535.80m) completing the top 10.
