Crystal Palace manager declares Ebere Eze fit for Man United clash
Crystal Palace manager, Oliver Glasner says Eberechi Eze is fit to face Manchester United at Sehurst Park this weekend in a Premier League matchweek 36 fixture.
Eze missed last weekend’s 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage against Fulham but Glasner has revealed the British-Nigerian is fit as he bids to score his first goal in nine appearances against the Red Devils in the competition.
“It is very positive news –Ebere Eze is fit and has trained. The player was off after Sunday and we have started preparing them for the [Manchester] United game.
He trained yesterday in the full session and again today, so it looks good. If everything continues as we expect, he will be in the squad.”
The 25 year old came in as a late substitute when the Eagles won 1-0 at Old Trafford in their first meeting last September and will want to be part of the Crystal Palace side that will do a Premier League double against Man United this season.
Eze will also be making his 110th appearance in the Premier League since he made his debut in the competition in September 2020 against Southampton.
He has gone on to score 23 times and provided 14 assists. He has won 35 of the games he featured in and lost 46.
