Harrison extends head to head record against Amusan to 18-7 in Atlanta

Former World 100m hurdles record holder, Kendra Harrison proved for the umpteenth time she is one of the best high hurdlers in one day meets after storming to a 12.67 finish to beat Tobi Amusan (12.73) at the adidas Atlanta City Games at at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Harrison, who is still looking for her first global title despite running inside 12.30 seconds five times and inside 12.40 seconds on more than five occasions, has now won 18 times in 24 head to head battles against Amusan.

The Nigerian has however won six of their last 10 head to head clashes and will feel confident she in on course in her preparation to add the Olympic gold to the World title she won two years ago in Oregon, USA.

Amusan still holds the world record at 12.12 and the 2024 world lead at 12.40.
