Fabrizio Romano: Chelsea won’t pay crazy money for Osimhen
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says Chelsea will not pay crazy money to secure the services of Victor Osimhen from Serie A side, Napoli.
The Nigerian has been in the news since he netted 26 goals in 32 appearances to guide the Partenopei to their first Scudetto in 33 years in the 2022/23 season with almost all the tops clubs in Europe rumored to be interested in the 25 year old.
Osimhen is said to be looking for a move to the English Premier League and Chelsea are among the clubs linked to the Nigerian but Romano says the west London side will not break the bank for the former Lille of France player.
On his latest Play Back video Monday night, Romano says: ‘Chelsea will not pay crazy money for Victor Osimhen! If the conditions change for Osimhen, we shall see. The package needs to be different.’
Napoli are yet to receive any concrete offer for the Nigerian and football watchers believe only clubs from oil rich Saudi Arabia can afford to pay the players 130m euros release clause.
