PSG seek further reduction of Osimhen’s asking price as Napoli reject Arsenal’s €70m offer

Paris Saint-Germain have not lost hope in their pursuit of Napoli’s Victor Osimhen as they await a price drop this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain, PSG, are still hopeful of getting a deal done for Victor Osimhen and they are waiting for Napoli to further drop the asking price for the Nigerian.

Napoli is demanding a full payment of the Nigerian’s €130 million release clause and PSG are refusing to pay. The amount seems to have scared a lot of clubs away from the 25 year old.

According to transfer market expert, Gianluca Di Marzio, PSG are set to return to the forefront in their charge for the Napoli striker.

Italian sports news outlet, La Gazzetta dello Sport, is however reporting Wednesday that PSG are still not satisfied with Napoli’s reduction of the transfer fees to €100 million.

‘The Parisian club would in fact have decided to take a step back. President Al-Khelaifi considers the 100 million euros excessive, believing that with De Laurentiis he is making the same mistake as last summer’.

Osimhen has rejected proposals from Saudi Arabia and Napoli have reportedly rejected Arsenal’s €70 million offer.
