Romano: Chelsea reject Lukaku/ Osimhen swap deal!

Football transfer expert and journalist, Fabrizio Romano says there is a new twist to the Victor Osimhen and Romelu Lukaku transfer drama after Chelsea rejected the idea of a swap and will rather treat both as separate deals.

There have reports about a likely swap with Chelsea offering Lukaku and two other players plus cash in exchange of the Napoli forward.

Romano has now claimed that Chelsea see Lukaku and Osimhen as ‘separate’ deals.

He also revealed that Chelsea will prefer a loan deal for the Nigerian as they are unwilling to pay Napoli’s asking price, something that Ligue 1 giants, PSG have also refused to pay.

For Napoli to have Lukaku who has scored 70 goals in 129 appearances in the Serie A,five more than Osimhen did in 108 games, they will have to pay whatever Chelsea will be demanding for the Belgian.
