Legia Warsaw sign Nigeria eligible midfielder, Oyedele from Man United

Legia Warsaw have agreed deal to sign Nigeria-eligible midfielder, Maxi Oyedele from Manchester United on permanent transfer.

The deal will include a sell-on clause as the player, born to a Polish mother and Nigerian father in 2004 is already in Poland.

Oyedele joined the Manchester United Academy aged eight from Burnley, impressing through the youth ranks. He was a part of the 2021–22 FA Youth Cup winning side, featuring from the bench in the final.

He has featured for Poland at under-18, under-19 and under-21 levels but can still feature for Nigeria, Poland or even England (he was born in Salford, England) at the senior level.

The appeared 67 times for Manchester at U18 (41), U19 (3) and U21 (23) levels and scored six times from his defensive midfield position.
