Bayelsa United signs 10 new players, extends partnership with Gloria Diri Foundation

Bayelsa United have completed signing of 10 new players for the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

The players are Daniel Bameyi, Hadi Mohammed, Solomon Akpokabowei, Godbless Akpos, Barnabas Ingya, Gorfoth Amedu, Rabiu Abdullahi, Matthew Ajibola, Ibrahim Abdullahi and Solomon Obed.

The players are expected to improve the club that escaped relegation into the Nigeria National League after flirting with relegation all seasons.

Bayelsa United will begin the season at the Akure Township stadium where they will be guest of Sunshine Stars.

The team drew 1-1 the last time they visited Akure and will be hoping they go a step further by winning their first game of the season.

Meanwhile, the club has announced the extension of its partnership with Gloria Diri Foundation as the Official Water provider for the club.
