Shooting Stars Unveil Eight New Players Ahead Of 2024/25 NPFL Season
Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan have unveiled eight new players ahead of 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
Top on the list of the players unveiled on Monday are goalkeepers Abiodun Akande from Rivers United and Mustapha Lawal from Sunshine Stars.
Others are Ojietefian Sylvester from Enyimba, Ikouwem Udom from Anenir Sportif De la Marsar of Tunisia, Abubakar Aliu from Lobi Stars, Adebayo Abayomi formerly of Remo Stars, Bolaji Sakin Simeon from Congolese side, AS Otoho and Ayanrinde Samuel from Sporting Lagos FC.
Shooting Stars are however retaining most of the bestplayers who helped the club to a fourth place finish in the NPFL last season.
Coach of the team, Gbenga Ogunbote revealed they signed the players unveiled to specifically solve the problems encountered in some departments last season.
Meanwhile, the club’s General Manager and former Nigeria international, Dimeji Lawal, expressed confidence that the new additions to the team will add quality to the team.
