Chelsea directors land in Naples for Osimhen transfer

International transfer expert and journalist, Fabrizio Romano says Chelsea directors are in Italy to finalize the deal for Victor Osimhen and have officially presented a proposal to Napoli.

Chelsea is battling Saudi Pro League side, Al-Ahli for the signature of the Nigerian.

Osimhen had initially ruled out a move to the oil rich middles east but the size of the offer presented by Al-Ahli is making him have a rethink but Romano says Chelsea holds the aces in the transfer battle.

“Chelsea has presented Napoli with an official offer for Victor Osimhen. Loan with OBLIGATION to buy. Meanwhile, Chelsea discusses salary conditions with Victor. Al Ahli is in the final stages of talks with Napoli! But the deal will ONLY come to fruition if talks with Chelsea fail,’ Romano wrote on X late Thursday night.

The transfer window closes at 11pm on Friday in England and Chelsea have until then to close a deal for the Nigerian.
