Oshoala scores third game-winning goal for Bay FC, takes tally to four goals

Asisat Oshoala scored her third game-winning goal for Bay FC in their 1-0 defeat of Racing Louisville at PayPal Park on Saturday night. It was the club’s first home match in the National Women’s Soccer League, NWSL after the Paris Olympics break.

The Nigerian scored the game’s only goal on 75 minutes following an assist from Penelope Hocking who provided her first goal contribution for Bay FC on her club debut as a substitute.

Oshoala has now scored twice in two games against Racing Louisville this season in her debut season in the NSWL.

All of the former Barcelona of Spain player’s game-winning goals have come in 1-0 wins.

The Super Falcons star has now scored four goals, the joint most by any Bay FC player so far this NWSL season.

Oshoala will now be seeking to net her fourth game-winning goal and make it three wins in a row for Bay FC against North Carolina Courage in a much-anticipated match at the WakeMed Soccer Park this Friday.
