Trabzonspor: We will evaluate Onuachu transfer if the conditions are right

Şenol Güneş, coach of Turkish Super Lig side, Trabzonspor says the club will evaluate and make a decision on the signing or otherwise of Nigeria striker, Paul Onuachu with three days to the close of the transfer window in Turkey.

Güneş, at his unveiling a coach of the team admits the Nigerian who plays for Premier League side, Southampton albeit he has been blanked out of the team so far, this new season, possesses all the qualities they need in the team but that will not be enough.

“Our president makes the transfers. Onuachu has been useful, but there is an economic and technical side to this. We will meet with the president.

‘We want to get better players than we have, that’s a fact. Onuachu is one of them. Onuachu made a 100 percent contribution.

‘If the conditions are suitable, we will follow and evaluate the developments in the remaining 3 days,’ said Güneş.

The Nigerian spent last season on loan at the club scoring 17 goals in just 25 appearances.
