Chukwueze named Lega Serie A Man of the Match, hails win

AC Milan match-winner, Samuel Chukwueze was named Lega Serie A Man of the Match for his overall impressive display at the San Siro which he capped with an important goal.

‘It was very nice, especially because of the attitude. We defended well, there was a team spirit that led us to victory, he said via MilanNews.

‘A good feeling, very important for us. And this helps to give confidence, now we have to continue like this.’

He also commented on his goal, his first of the season and in seven months after netting in March this year in the 3-1 win at Hellas Verona.

‘It’s a very good feeling to score and win this game. I think it’s very important for us, the coach, and our confidence, so we need to push for more targets.’

This was Chukwueze’s first goal in nine appearances across all competitions this season.
