Saka set for 12th start in 12 Champions League games, in line for 240th Arsenal game
Bukayo Saka has been listed to start his 12th game in 12 UEFA Champions League games and the 23 year old will be hoping he leads Arsenal back to winning ways after two defeats and a draw in their last three games in the Premier League.
Saka has scored five times and provided four assists in the 11 games he has played so far in the competition.
If he scores Wednesday night, it will be his second in three games in the competition after missing the last two through a leg injury.
Saka will also be making his 240th appearance for the Gunners since he made his debut for the Gunners in November 2018 in a Europa League game away at Ukrainian side, Vorskla Poltava. He played for the last 22 minutes of the Gunners’ 3-0 win.
Since then, Saka has featured 25 times in the Europa League, 179 times in the Premier League, two Community Shield games, 11 games each in the FA Cup and EFL Cup, and 11 in the UEFA Champions League.
He has scored 62 times and provided 60 assists.
