Atalanta set €50m asking price for Lookman
Atalanta are willing to let their star striker, Ademola Lookman leave at the end of the season but any interested club will have to pay as much as €50m for the 27-year-old Nigerian, according to Italian news outlet, Il Corriere dello Sport.
Lookman has had a stunning start to the season with eight goals and five assists in 14 appearances across all competitions for Atalanta to continue from the impressive season he had last term when he scored 17 goals in 45 appearances, including the hat-trick he scored to help Atalanta win the Europa League title.
The Nigerian was approached by Ligue 1 giants PSG over the summer, but Atalanta refused to sell and eventually persuaded him to remain at the club.
Lookman joined the club in August 2022, and it will expire in June 2026, but Atalanta have an option to extend it for a further season, raising his salary to €2m per season.
Corriere dello Sport reports that any interested club will be required to pay at least €50m for the 27-year-old striker.
