PSG finally make move for Osimhen’s January transfer
French side Paris Saint-Germain want to add Victor Osimhen to their squad in January and have reportedly made the move for the Nigerian.
According to RMC Sport, the Ligue 1 giants have held talks with the Nigerian and his representatives.
The Nigerian is happy in Turkey where he has played 14 matches for Galatasaray this season, scored 10 goals and made 7 assists, but he is also reportedly pleased with PSG’s interest.
Osimhen’s transfer situation is however complicated as PSG need to convince Napoli and Galatasaray to secure the deal in January that will be worth 81 million euros.
It is unclear whether PSG coach Luis Enrique will also approve the transfer as the Spaniard did not show much interest in the summer before the Nigerian moved on loan to Galatasaray.
But with PSG on the verge of not qualifying for the next stage of the UEFA Champions League, sitting just one place below the qualification mark with seven points in six games, they know they will need a striker who is as prolific as Osimhen and who is still eligible to play in the competition.
