NPFL: Enyimba go nine games without a win, draw sixth NPFL game in a row
Enyimba of Aba drew goalless at Plateau United in one of their rescheduled games in the Nigeria Premier Football League played at the Jos international stadium in Jos, on Boxing Day.
The Aba giants have now gone nine games without a win across all competitions with six coming in the NPFL and three in their CAF Confederation Cup group stage games.
The Peoples Elephant have not won in the NPFL since they defeated Ikorodu City FC with a late, late Moses Adikwu goal (90+2) at the Enyimba international stadium in Aba.
Since then, they have drawn all six games played in the NPFL with three at home while they have two of the three CAF Confederation Cup games played so far.
With the Boxing Day result, Enyimba are now 11th on the log with 23 points from 15 games while their host, Plateau United out of the bottom three on goals difference albeit they are on 19 points with all three teams in the relegation zone.
Enyimba will be seeking for their first win when they host Bendel Insurance next week Tuesday in Aba.
