Saka vows to come back stronger after undergoing surgery on hamstring injury

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka says he is “coming back stronger” after undergoing surgery on his hamstring.
The Nigeria-born England international limped off in Arsenal’s 5-1 mauling of Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park a little over two weeks ago

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta told the media after the Gunners’ 1-0 defeat of Ipswich Town on Friday night that the 23 year old had undergone a successful surgery and will not be available for selection for over two months.

Saka is however not downcast about the development and sent a defiant message of hope via his Instagram page on Saturday.

Alongside a photo from his hospital bed, he wrote on Instagram: “The majority see obstacles, but few see the opportunities. Recovery has begun and I’m coming back stronger! Thank you all for your messages #GodsPlan.”

Saka has scored five goals and provided 10 assists in 16 Premier League appearances so far this term.
