Osimhen rated Super Lig best performer, Lookman is second best in Serie A
UK-based football data platform WhoScored, has, using data, named the top performers in some of the football leagues in Europe with the Nigerian duo of Victor Osimhen among the top performers in Turkey and Italy respectively.
Since he joined Galatasaray on loan from Serie A side, Napoli, the Nigerian has been on fire. He has scored 13 goals in 16 games across all competitions with 10 coming in 12 Super Lig games.
With a rating of 7.68, the highest by any player in the Super Lig after 18 rounds of matches, the Nigerian has been rated the top performer so far.
In Italy, reigning African Player of the Year, Lookman is rated the second-best player in the Serie A so far this term after 19 rounds of games.
Lookman, with a 7.45 rating, is rated the second best highest rated players in the Italian topflight league, behind Inter Milan’s Marcus Thuram who has a 7.67 rating.
The 27-year-old Nigerian has scored 12 goals in 22 appearances across all competitions so far this season with nine of the goals scored in 15 Serie A games.
