Together, We Can Be Better,’ Ogunmodede welcomes Chelles, the new Super Eagles head coach to Ikenne

Super Eagles B team head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede says he and the team are thrilled to welcome Eric Chelle, the new head coach of the main Super Eagles to their training camp in Ikenne.

Chelle was unveiled Monday as the new head coach of the Super Eagles after the Malian signed a two-year deal.

The 47-year-old, accompanied by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, technical director, Austin Eguavoen and former Nigeria forward, Victor Ikpeba, visited the Eagles B team currently in camp preparing for the African Nations Championships, CHAN, earlier scheduled to hold next month but has now been postponed to August by CAF.

Ogunmodede, who is also the head coach at Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side, Remo Stars took to his social media pages to express his delight at welcoming Chelle to Ikenne.

‘I am extremely excited to receive our esteemed National Team Coach, Éric Sékou Chelle, to the CHAN training camp as we continue to prepare for success with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

‘Alongside the rest of the crew, we extend our best wishes to our Head Coach for an inspiring and successful journey ahead. …Together, We Can Be Better,’ wrote Ogunmodede.
