Lookman nets incredible solo goal, takes tally to five in seven games Vs Napoli

Ademola Lookman ended his three-game goal drought and scored his first Serie A goal of 2025 in a spectacular fashion.

The Nigerian, 27, scored the second goal to draw Atalanta level in their 3-2 defeat to visiting Napoli at the Gewiss stadium and the evening belonged to him because of his sensational goal.

Lookamn, reigning African Player of the Year started the move in midfield when he shook off Giovanni Di Lorenzo and then ran at three opponents only to thread his finish through a sea of legs into the far bottom corner.

The Nigerian has now scored thrice in two games in the same season and five overall in seven appearances against Napoli since he joined Atalanta in 2022.

Lookman’s five goals are the joint most he has scored against a side in the Serie A after netting five in six games against Fiorentina.
