Vince Osuji joins Onyedika at Club Brugge

UEFA Champions League campaigner, Club Brugge have signed teenage defender Vince Osuji from Swedish side Kalmar for around €3m.

The Nigerian signed a contract with Blauw-Zwart until 2029.

Osuji is an 18-year-old talent from Nigeria and the central defender played last season at the Swedish Kalmar FF, where the football season runs from April to November.

He made the switch from the Cardinal Football Academy to Scandinavia in April 2024. In Sweden, he scored 1 goal in 16 games for Kalmar FF.

The Nigerian was close to joining another Belgian Pro Leage side, Genk in the summer, but the move never materialised.

It was reported that Osuji was being monitored by Ajax, but ultimately the Belgian champions have won the race for his signature.
