Akor Adams in Seville, to undergo medical on Sunday
Akor Adams, the Montpellier of France Nigerian striker is in Seville to undergo his medical on Sunday and sign for the club.
The forward arrived on Saturday from France and was received by Sevilla emissaries at the airport from where he headed directly to the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium to watch the clash between his about to be new team and Espanyol.
Adams will be the second signing of this winter market after the arrival of Rubén Vargas. The expected signing of the striker has been one of the main headaches for Víctor Orta, the Sevilla sporting director who opted for Kelechi Iheanacho in the summer.
Iheanacho has however not been up to the task either physically or competitively since he arrived in July as a free agent.
Adams played 49 times for Montpellier and scored 13 times and provided five assists.
