FA Cup Draw: Iwobi gets chance for first goal and first win Vs Man United

Alex Iwobi has been given the chance to score his first goal against Manchester United in the FA Cup after his club, Fulham were drawn to face the Red Devils in the fifth round of the competition on Monday.

The Nigerian has featured twice against the 13-times winner of the oldest Cup competition in the world and came out bruised on both occasions.

First was the fourth round tie against Manchester United at the Emirates stadium in Arsenal’s 3-1 loss to the visitors. Iwobi was in action for 64 minutes in the game.

Iwobi also started in another 3-1 loss, this time at Old Trafford in January 2023 where he crashed with Everton.

The 28-year-old will be keen to rewrite his FA Cup story against Ruben Amorim’s inconsistent side who booked their fifth-round ticket in a controversial manner against Wilfred Ndidi’s Leicester City.
