Osimhen turns down Gala and Saudi offers, focused on Premier League switch

The transfer saga surrounding Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has taken a new twist, with the striker reportedly rejecting offers from both Turkish giants Galatasaray and clubs in Saudi Arabia, according to multiple reports from the Italian press.

Despite strong interest from Galatasaray, Osimhen has ruled out a move to the Turkish Super Lig side. Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the 26-year-old Napoli forward has also turned down lucrative approaches from the Saudi Pro League, instead prioritizing a move to England.

Sources cited by Corriere dello Sport indicate that Osimhen’s preferred destination is the English Premier League, where he is said to be awaiting formal offers from top clubs, notably Chelsea, who have previously expressed interest.

Meanwhile, Juventus had also been monitoring the player’s availability. However, Calciomercato reports that Napoli is unwilling to sell Osimhen to a domestic rival for the proposed €75 million fee. Furthermore, Juventus’ inability to offload current striker Dušan Vlahović has complicated their pursuit. The Bianconeri have now turned their attention to Lille’s Jonathan David as a more viable option.

Frustration appears to be growing within the Napoli camp over Osimhen’s indecision. According to Tuttosport, club management is considering relegating the forward to train with the youth team if he does not resolve his future soon.

Osimhen, who has scored consistently for both Napoli and the Nigerian national team in recent seasons, remains one of the most coveted forwards in world football. As negotiations continue, all eyes are now on the Premier League—where a bidding war could soon unfold.
