Al-Hilal table new €75m offer for Osimhen in two instalments

The race to sign Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen has intensified, with Saudi giants Al-Hilal launching a fresh bid to challenge Turkish outfit Galatasaray. Both clubs remain locked in negotiations with Napoli, who continue to insist on a €75 million fee paid in no more than two instalments.

Osimhen, 26, spent last season on loan at Galatasaray where he flourished, reigniting interest in a permanent move. Although his release clause has since expired, Napoli remain firm on the valuation of the former Serie A top scorer.

Galatasaray’s latest offer matched the €75 million asking price—but proposed staggered payments: €40 million upfront and the remaining €35 million in multiple instalments. Al-Hilal have now upped the stakes with a two-instalment offer of €37.5 million each, reportedly submitted overnight per Italian journalist Matteo Moretto.

Notably, Al-Hilal had previously tabled a jaw-dropping €30 million-per-season salary, which Osimhen declined earlier this summer. Whether their improved payment structure will sway Napoli remains to be seen.

As the tug-of-war continues, Osimhen’s future could swing dramatically—between a Saudi payday and a Turkish triumph.
