Inter Milan target Lookman as €50m valuation puts deal in balance

Inter Milan appear to be closing in on a move for Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman, following reports that they’ve already reached an informal agreement on personal terms with the reigning African Player of the Year.

However, the deal hinges on whether the Nerazzurri can satisfy Atalanta’s financial demands.

With Joaquin Correa and Marko Arnautovic gone, rebuilding the attack has become a priority for Inter.

Italian sources, including Corriere dello Sport, revealed Atalanta have set a €50 million price tag for Lookman, though Inter are aiming for a €40 million deal—an offer they’re reportedly ready to table without offloading any current first-team players.

Should negotiations stall, Inter have a shortlist of alternative targets, including Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku, Juventus’s Nico Gonzalez, and Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho.
