The long-running transfer saga involving Ademola Lookman and Inter Milan has hit a pause, as the Nerazzurri shift focus to other squad priorities.

According to SportMediaset, via FCInterNews, Inter have not made a fresh bid for the Atalanta forward, despite weeks of negotiations and two previous offers—€40 million initially, followed by a €45 million package including add-ons.

The Nigerian international has made his intentions clear, reportedly demanding a move and skipping training since early August in an effort to push Atalanta toward a sale.

Despite the pressure, Inter are now prioritizing reinforcements in midfield and defense, leaving Lookman’s future in limbo.

The 27-year-old, who dazzled last season in Serie A, remains a top target, but for now, the Nerazzurri are holding off on escalating their pursuit.
