After a grueling yet triumphant season that spanned from NCAA Indoor meets to the global spotlight of the Wanda Diamond League, Nigerian hurdler Ezekiel Nathaniel is savoring the moment.

The 400m hurdles specialist has emerged as one of the most exciting young talents in the discipline, blending collegiate dominance with international promise.

‘It’s been a long season, from NCAA Indoors to Outdoors and now competing at the world stage. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and how I’ve performed here despite the conditions. The Diamond League is amazing,’ said Ezekiel after posting 48.08s to win in Lausanne on Wednesday.

Ezekiel’s rise began with standout performances for Baylor University, where he consistently clocked sub-48 times and clinched top finishes in both the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships.
