Chukwueze named Fulham’s Legend of the Match after Sunderland victory

Samuel Chukwueze has been voted Fulham’s Royal Caribbean Legend of the Match following his decisive contribution in the 1-0 win over Sunderland.
The Nigeria international was introduced from the bench in the 64th minute and wasted no time in making an impact, delivering a superb cross for Raúl Jiménez to finish in the middle.
Speaking after the game, manager Marco Silva praised Chukwueze’s influence.
‘He had a huge impact. It was a great assist from him, and we’re pleased for him. Now we need him to start games and to keep the intensity throughout the 90 minutes,’ Silva said.
Chukwueze topped the fan vote with 39.29%, ahead of Jiménez on 15.60% and Harry Wilson on 9.77%.
His performance was marked by creativity and energy, with seven touches in the opposition box, five chances created, four duels won, two successful take-ons, two possessions regained, two fouls won, and the crucial assist that sealed the victory.
