Madueke: ‘Couldn’t Have Picked a Better Game’ for My First Arsenal Goal

Noni Madueke celebrated his first goal for Arsenal in spectacular fashion, striking in the club’s 3-1 victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
The winger, who netted the Gunners’ second of the night, admitted the occasion could not have been more fitting.
‘I couldn’t have picked a better game to score my first Arsenal goal. I am so happy the team got the win as well. I am a confident player, I don’t like someone telling me I cannot do something, but my team-mates and staff have belief in me,’ he told TNT Sports after the match.
Madueke’s strike helped Arsenal end Bayern’s unbeaten run in the league phase, a result he described as a powerful statement of intent.
‘It’s an incredible statement but we know the work we put in. We go into these games with every confidence that we are going to win,’ he added.
